The East Side of the Pass
The east side descent, although steep, doesn't have the one lane sections, and is relatively easy. Once you are on the bottom you will pass through the town of Twin Lakes. Beyond the town you will find a power plant and a recreation area.
Continue on Highway 82 until the road ends, a short distance up the road. If you turn left you will end up in Leadville, Colorado; go right and you head south to Buena Vista, Colorado.
