Cat's Journal   Page 2

May 5, 2003

Hello, fellow conspirators.  A lot has happened since these two have arrived.  It has almost been a month now and they are scary!  They went from squirmy, squealing, blind little balls of fluff to, dare I say, cats!  They see, they play, they run, they climb, they use the litter box, they even know their names!  Our captors call them "Stripe" and "Patch".  How original!  I guess they are here to stay........sigh.....

That's Stripe on the left and Patch on the right, engaged in what our captors call motorin'...some kind of exercise program, we think.

CLIMBING...

.

PLAYING....

All-in-all, things aren't so bad.  These little guys (our captors don't even know their gender...duh!) are getting interesting.  They want to play with us, but we are afraid we'll hurt them.  Gotta wait 'til they get a little bigger, like maybe after their nap?  We will keep you posted.

STILL PLAYING....

Well, they are still here.  That's "Patch" on the left and "Stripe" on the right.  They went to the kitty doctor a few weeks ago and got stuck with the shiny, sharp thing. Stripe really cried, she went on and on about it.   Our captors finally know that they are both GIRLS, oh boy!  They weighed in at 1-1/2 lbs each...what lightweights!  But, boy are their teeth sharp...and those claws...wish I still had mine...sigh.  So may changes-last night Stripe & Patch did not get locked up in the captor's room.  The little terrors were all over the place!  Where does a cat have to go for a little peace and quiet?  We fear it will get worse before it gets better.  But, who knows, they may be finally getting to the "fun stage" of our games....more allies....haha!
