How we traveled for almost 20 years
Upon looking for RV's 18 years ago so we could start this life style, I couldn't believe the prices on motor homes.
So I found this bus, in a field with very few miles on it. Yeap it was yellow and was at one time a school bus.
It's a 1973 Bluebird on a Ford Chassis, with a 361 Ford Industrial, gas engine. It weighs in at a 21,000 lbs, It does great on the hills and can get up to 7 MPG.

Well that's about it, if you ever get a chance and want to build your own RV, try a school bus. It worked for us.
