Woodstock New York

Not quite what I remember from the sixties, but as we were told the actual concert happened a long ways from here, because it became to big for this area.

Woodstock is alive and well with many art galleries, gift shops, and unique eateries.  I had to laugh when I saw a sign in a shop that said "Stop the War."  After nearly 40 years things haven't changed much.

It was a nice days and it appeared many locals were out and about

So Susan and I went into this cool store, where people were nice and let us photo a bit.

Anyways this part of the day was fun and we stepped back into time for a bit.  Go back to the day trips page and we'll tell you how the day became ugly real fast.
